At Brighouse High School, we provide our students with an engaging and stimulating learning experience throughout school life. We offer a wide range of organised extra-curricular opportunities providing our students with an opportunity to try new skills. to assist them with their studies or just to have fun! These activities take place in lunch time and after school clubs. There are many educational visits, events and excursions as well as opportunities to participate in sports teams, music lessons, school productions and concerts.
We also run Super Learning Days throughout the school year, which involves the school timetable stopping to enable access to extended curriculum activities and visits as part of our wider curriculum offer. We have established partnerships with a wide range of professional organisations who participate in these days.
In additional our LMH (Literacy and Media Hub) is open to students outside of lessons and has a timetable of activities for students to participate in. The LMH also co-ordinates cross-curricular events and activities throughout the year.
Parents are informed of educational trips and excursions by email or by letters given to the students via MCAS.
