E-Safety is a key issue in schools as it can pervade all aspects of school life. Staff in schools, as well as pupils, may become targets of ‘cyberbullying’. Cyberbullying is a whole school community issue. It takes place when an individual or group of people use technology such as the internet, mobile phones, e-mail, chat rooms, or social networking sites to bully, threaten or embarrass their victim.
